What a weekend!

I really had one of those weekends that I wish happened every weekend. Not only did I have both Sat & Sun off but it was the perfect combination off a lot going on to laziness. Friday wasn't really that exciting I got Vegas ready for the PMR (Poland Moe Rodeo) and then cleaned my house from top to bottom. Even managing to get a few loads of laundry done and that always feels really good.

Saturday was the second annual Poland Moe Ranch Rodeo, Dance & BBQ. Which really isn't a rodeo at all. More like a playday for friends and family to get together ride their horses, eat good food & listen to music. Rachel came and rode Cheyenne and did an excellent job doing all the games. She even won the ribbon race! My dad rode Harley and that was comical and great at the same time. Harley tried to get away from him and instead of saying whoa he kept saying slow harley slow. It was fun he was my partner for the ribbon race. Vegas was a moron! But other than that it was a lot of fun and a good day. After the riding portion was over we all went up to the house where rolling thunder bbq had been smoking 29 tri-tips since noon. The food was so good and the corn was so sweet you didn't have to use butter or salt just ate it as is. Then the Michael Fowler band played had a few beers and then it was time to go home. But the best part of the day was Chris waiting for me at home! He finally made it back from Montana it was so good to finally go to sleep with him there. I slept like a rock!

Vegas & I won Egg & Spoon 2 years in a row!

Dad & I gave it our best shot!

Sunday was equally enjoyable. I got sleep in for the first time in forever and Chris was right there with me. After we went & took Vegas home and put everything away we ate breakfast at Caseys scratched off some lottery tickets won 6 bucks! Took a quick cat nap and then went to the river. OH my goodness we found this perfect little sandy spot where no one was. The sand went out a ways so you weren't tripping and killing your feet on rocks! YAY! And the dogs both had so much fun I wish I had a waterproof camera because Peanut is a swimmer! Its soo cute and when he splashes he tries to catch it in his mouth he goes out pretty far sticks his whole head under water trying to get sticks and shells. I can't believe how brave that little dog is. Chris and I had a handstand contest to see you who could make it the furthest walking on their hands. We both lost. It was funny to watch. Then we just laid on the beach part and got some good sun. Then after we went home and showered we went for some good sushi and then just relaxed at home with some tv.

Overall a very fun, relaxing & eventfull weekend.
